The DVD we create will work with region 2 DVD players. 99.9% of DVD players accept DVD-R media discs. If you are uncertain about this please refer to your manual to see if this is compatable as refunds will not be given if your DVD is not compatable. The same goes for most modern PC's as these play DVD and are compatable, always check your manual for confirmation.

Will the DVD you created play on all DVD players and PC's?

Yes, this is possible depending on how many hours are being recorded. We do not edit your recordings as this can lead to us editing incorrect sections. If you are submitting 2 tapes for one disc please request any special instructions on the Transfer Order Form supplied

Can I put more than 1 tape onto a disc which is not VHS?

However, Each VHS tape that you send in would go onto it's own disc. If you send in three tapes, you would get back the original tapes plus 3 DVD disc's Total cost = £29.97 + P&P

We can record upto 6 hours onto a disc but for quality DVD sound and picture we recommend 2 hours. More than 2 hours will not have a sharper picture but will be of good transfer quality.

How many minutes of stereo audio & video will fit onto a disc?

The quality of the recordings is really based on your original material. If your original is a VHS or 8mm tape, then you will get VHS or 8mm quality. If your original is from a HI-8 or Mini DV, you will get a very high resolution digital quality sound. Usually the DVD's image will be slightly better than the original.

What is the audio & video quality of the transfers?.

After I get the DVD, can I edit the material on my computer?

To edit a DVD, copy the largest file from the disk that you receive to your hard drive and then rename the "VOB" file extension to "MPG". You will then be able to play and edit the disk on your computer providing you have a DVD-R drive and editing software.

We have to emphasise that we do not use sticky adhesive labels. After a few months with labels they start to peel and your money is wasted. We have the finest technology to place photo's, text and any images directly on to the disk.

Does the price include printed labels on the disk?

All our DVD's are set to region 2 by default, Your DVD will work in any country on a multiregional DVD player..

Can i send my mum in the United States the DVD of my family to watch?

Tapes should be placed in a small box or padded jiffy bag along with a our printed Transfer Order Form with your personal details along with payment. We recommend that you send these using a signed delivery service so you know these have arrived safely.

In total our studio has in excess of £50,000 worth of recording and editing equipment. Digital recordings are so sensitive that a simple flicker of a light switch can effect the way a DVD records. If for the very rare reason your recording is defective, please let us know so we can issue you with a replacement or a refund if you so wish. Just return the defective disc to us so we can analyise and improve our services

Yes, We make duplicates of any DVD as long as it does not have copy protection recorded on it. It must not break any copyright laws and must be legal. We often get pornographic material to copy which is accepted but we strongly stipulate that this must be legal.

If I already have a DVD disc, can you make copies of it?

My tapes are 15 years old, can you improve the sound and picture quality?

We get a lot of people saying "if only". As time goes on picture and sound quality become very poor. We are basically preserving your recordings so they don't get any further damage by placing them onto DVD. Once transferred you can watch them 500 times in a week and each viewing will be as good as the first.

Any material can be transfered over to DVD, with the upmost discretion being used..

How should I post my tape(s) for you to transfer?

No matter what cassette you supply us it shall be have a chapter menu. For easy navigation a picture scene menu is placed at the beginning so you can jump to a scene in your movie whether its 10 minutes or an hour ahead.
